which refers to things only .
and
who ( whom or whose ) refers to people .

examples :

1 - I was talking about the novel which is the most pupolar and exepensive one in america.

2- Do you know where is miss MERIEM ?
no , who ?
she is who i want to give her some books .


some remarques :
meriem you should be awake from having mistakes in writing

whose is a possessive pronoun like her and his. we use it to find out which something person belongs to.

example : whose book is that ?
whose that red laptop ?

whom is an object pronoun like him and her .we use it to ask about the person who had receives the action .

example: whom did she look for ?
whom are you going to call ?
